Join skilled cheesemaker Katie Justman of Branch Oak Farm Creamery (Raymond, Nebraska) in the shop for an evening of soft cheesemaking. Branch Oak Creamery’s cheeses are made with sustainable, certified organic methods, and with a positive impact on the environment.
In the first half of the class we will learn to make fresh mozarella, ricotta and marscapone, discuss milk sourcing, equipment and cheese cultures so you can reproduce all what you learn easily in your own home.
In the second half of the class we will go over seasonal cheese plating ideas and sit down to enjoy our creations. There with be an assortment of artisan breads, beverage pairing and decadent Roman-style tiramisu!
The ticket price is $85 a person.
